Adam Streit

Adam Streit is a filmmaker from California and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley film department. He currently works in Los Angeles and is a member of the Motion Picture Editor's Guild.

Adam was cinematographer and editor on Cinematiks’ production of God Wears My Underwear, which won the Best Short Film Award for 2005 at DNAFF in Toronto and has been shown at film festivals around the world. He has signed on as DP/Editor for The Elly Glass Project. Previous work with Cinematiks includes: Sacrifice, at the Tokyo video festival, The Visitor, screened in Hong Kong in 2001, Messengers, on Bay Area PBS, Eyewitness, and Lavinia’s Dream, screened in Brussels, San Francisco, and Naples.

He worked for Autonomy as a Staff Editor on projects including the Fox Movie Channel’s “Hour of Stars”, “Blueprint for Revenge”, "Here! Backlot","Next Stop: New You" series and the comedy show "Margaret Cho: Assassin". He has also worked for the USA Cable Networks series “Arrest & Trial”, and Lifetime Television’s “Unsolved Mysteries”. Most recently, he completed a two year engagement with My Network TV/Fox for their product launch season, working on the stelenovellas “Desire”, “Watch Over Me” and “American Heiress”.

In 1996 he was awarded and completed a prestigious internship at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California. During fall, 1999, he attended Avid Film Camp at the Digital Media Educational Center in Portland, Oregon.
